The “enjoi Luxury Cruise” campaign was almost a year in the planning and execution stages. Lining up a contest in Helsinki, the team doing a tour and demos around that, filming the tour video, filming Zack and Ryan’s introduction videos, editing hours and hours of footage from multiple camera and codecs, making the print article coincide with the videos, etc etc. This project was a lot of work. Print deadlines for Transworld Skateboarding kept changing and both Zack and Ryan were plagued with injuries (a life threatening one in Zack’s case explained here).
The idea was to have one video a day, for one week showcasing the Scandinavia tour and introducing the two new enjoi amateurs to go online the same time the magazine came out with the Tour Article and print advertisement. Although, there were a lot of setbacks, hiccups, and speed bumps, the article and videos all came out and was a huge success.
It really felt amazing to work with Ryan and Zack to get them on the team. Zack is now a professional for enjoi and Ryan has moved on to greener pastures at Welcome Skateboards.
